Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Air Code Lab ("Air Code Lab", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data across our website and the mobile and web applications we build and operate. We are committed to privacy by default and to collecting only what an app needs to work.
Some of our apps have their own product-specific privacy notice with additional detail. For example, our SVCrew Hub app is covered by its own policy at svcrew.com/privacy. Where a product notice and this policy differ, the product notice governs that product.
1. Who we are
Air Code Lab is a software studio that designs and builds mobile and web applications. For the purposes of the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Air Code Lab acts as the data controller for the personal data described in this policy, unless a product notice states otherwise.
You can contact us about privacy at any time at info@aircodelab.com.
2. Scope
This policy applies to:
- the aircodelab.com website; and
- the mobile and web applications we publish, except where a specific app provides its own privacy notice.
It does not apply to third-party websites, services, or app stores we link to or distribute through, which have their own privacy policies.
3. Personal data we collect
The exact data depends on the product and how you use it. Across our services we may collect:
a. Information you provide
- Account details such as name, email address, and other identifiers you enter when you register or set up a profile.
- Content you create inside an app, such as schedules, documents, posts, or settings.
- Messages you send us, for example support or contact emails.
b. Information collected automatically
- Device and technical data such as device type, operating system, app version, and language.
- Usage and diagnostic data such as crash logs and basic analytics that help us keep the product reliable.
- Push notification tokens, where you enable notifications.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. How we use personal data
- To provide and operate our apps and their features.
- To authenticate you and keep accounts secure.
- To send service communications and, where enabled, push notifications.
- To maintain, debug, and improve our products.
- To respond to your requests and provide support.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
5. Legal bases (GDPR)
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide an app you use), consent (for example, push notifications, which you can withdraw at any time), legitimate interests (to keep our services secure and working well), and legal obligation. Under the Saudi PDPL, we process personal data on the corresponding lawful bases, including your consent and the performance of a service you request.
6. How we share data
We share personal data only as needed to run our services:
- Service providers that host and power our apps (for example cloud hosting, databases, authentication, and push delivery), acting as our processors under contract.
- Other users, only where a feature is inherently shared (for example a post you publish to a board within an app).
- Legal and safety reasons, where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your personal data.
7. International transfers
Our infrastructure and providers may process data in countries other than yours, including within the European Union. Where data is transferred across borders, we take steps intended to ensure an adequate level of protection consistent with the PDPL and GDPR.
8. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, to provide the service to you, and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When you delete your account or data, we delete or anonymize it as described below, subject to limited retention required by law.
9. Your rights
Subject to the PDPL, GDPR, and other applicable law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Portability of data you provided, in a machine-readable form.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.
- Lodge a complaint with your competent data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@aircodelab.com. Many of our apps also let you edit your profile and delete your account directly in the app.
10. Deleting your data
You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time, either from within the relevant app (where a delete option is provided) or by emailing info@aircodelab.com. We will action verified deletion requests within a reasonable period, subject to any retention required by law. Product-specific deletion steps, where they exist, are described in that product's own privacy notice.
11. Security
We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly to any incident.
12. Children
Our services are not directed to children under the age required by applicable law in their country, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
